JOINING THE PACK?
WHAT HAPPENS when a litter is born?
Step 1. We rigorously review the submitted Expression of Interest (EOI) forms to find the best fit families for our puppies
Step 2. We contact our shortlisted families via text & email. Please always check your Junk Folder in your email as you never know when an email lands there unexpectedly.
Note: Sometimes being on the shortlist does not guarantee a pup in this litter. This is due to the unpredictability of nature; in other words, the boy to girl ratios and how many puppies will be born and are healthy.
Step 3. We have a meet & greet or facetime to get to know each other, meet the Sashenka Pack and see if we are a good fit.
Usually around this time the puppies are born!
Now, knowing how many healthy puppies we have and what sexes they are we are able to match them up with families from the shortlist. This is because most families have a set preference or in fact no preference for a particular sex. However, in some cases a family is not sure and will meet the puppies first to decide.
Step 4. We offer you a pup in writing, (email) and provide the contract of sale. This is signed much later though on receipt of the puppy at 8 weeks of age. We like to be upfront and have all conditions and information supplied so our families are confident in the decision to purchase one of our pups.
Step 5. We ask for a deposit. The deposit is fully refundable should you, or in very rare cases we, change our minds.
Step 6. When the puppies are approximately 4 weeks of age we have a group meet and greet at our residence to see the pups & enjoy morning tea together. It’s nice to meet other families joining The Sashenka Pack.
Step 7. The balance of payment is DUE when the pup is 7 weeks of age If not received, we refund your deposit and offer the pup to another family.
Step 8. At 8 weeks we say goodbye to our precious puppies, and they say hello to you!
Throughout the whole 8 week process we always send weekly reports plenty of information to prepare you for your new arrival and lots and LOTS of photos and videos!
